Two Texas State Senators have introduced a new bill that would require warrants for the use of StingRay Cell Phone surveillance. Senators Craig Estes and Rodney Ellis introduced Senate Bill 942 which would require warrants for GPS tracking devices, international mobile subscriber identity locators, including StingRay Cell Phone Surveillance devices also known as Cell Site Simulators.
