On Thursday, FBI director James Comey met with state and local authorities in Houston to discuss the need for upgrading the city’s violent crime task force. Comey also spoke of the threat of international terrorism and how local law enforcement can combat radicalization. The director told law enforcement that Houston is leading the country in robberies of commercial establishments and armed bank robberies.
